Ticket info

NOTICE: The museum entrance ticket does not include admission to the temporary exhibition "Pelizza da Volpedo. Masterpieces".

In this section it is possible to buy tickets up to a maximum of 8. Online ticket must be taken even for those who are entitled to a free ticket (children included).

Groups must book by email to info@spazioaster.it at least 7 days in advance, even if they have their own guide, specifying the museum, the date, visit time and number of participants.
Booking is considered confirmed only when the final booking number is received.

Every first and third Tuesday of the month from 2.00 pm free entrance to the museum for all visitors.
Every first Sunday of the month free entry to the museum for all visitors (without the possibility of purchasing online).

The museum's second floor is temporarily closed to the public due to ongoing maintenance work. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Holders of an AM Lombardy Val d'Aosta card or an Esselunga voucher are eligible for a free ticket by showing up at the ticket office; free ticket is not available online.

The Modern Art Gallery is located in the Villa Reale in Milan, built in 1790 by Leopoldo Pollack, a pupil of Giuseppe Piermarini. About 500 works are exhibited that can be placed between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th, coming from bequests and donations which include masterpieces by Canova, Segantini, Hayez, Medardo Rosso, the painting Quarto Stato by Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, as well as two important collections - the Grassi Collection and the Vismara Collection.

    Categories admitted to the reduction: over 65 years old, university students, EU citizen between 18 and 25 years old included Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (non-EU citizen on reciprocity terms), employees of the Municipality of Milan
     
  • Omaggio
    Free entry for: 0-17 years old and high school student, disabled person and a companion, teachers accompaniyng school group (max 4), MIC officials, EU tourist guides and interpreters, journalists and accredited researchers, ICOM members. Every first and third Tuesday of the month after 2.00 pm

 

The titles that entitle to a reduction must be exhibited if required by the staff.
