ROOFTOP PANORAMIC WALK
The panoramic walk along the higher part of walls and towers of the castle is open to independent visitors, without the need to book a guided tour, subject to the purchase of entry tickets.
The walk was used by soldiers to patrol the Sforza Castle, which was a military fortress at the time of the Sforza family, as well as the ducal residence.
The access is granted from the stairway in the Courtyard of the Rocchetta – the best protected part of the Sforza Castle.
The impressive walk allows you to discover the hidden defensive system of the Castle and enjoy the city skyline from different angles: from this unique spot, you can see the whole city and better understand the complex and fascinating structure of the Sforza Castle.
