NOTICE!
In these section you can buy ticket for groups (min 10 - max 25 people + tourist guide). Online ticket must be taken even for those who are entitled to a free ticket (children included).
For individual visit there is a special purchasing channel.
Advance purchase of tickets is mandatory for groups; once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded.

Microphones: use your own or available for purchase on-site.

  • Preschool and Primary School: the use of a microphone system is optional.

  • Lower and Upper Secondary Schools: the use of a microphone system is strongly recommended.

  • Adults: the use of a microphone system is mandatory.

Notices:

  • Sala delle Asse (Leonardo da Vinci): closed for restoration
  • Prehistory and Protohistory Section: closed
  • Ancient Egyptian Gallery: email reservation is mandatory via segreteria@spazioaster.it. In the event of overcrowding, access for groups without a reservation cannot be guaranteed.

Every first Sunday of the month free entry to the museum for all visitors (without the possibility of purchasing online).

Online tickets will not be on sale on May 10, 2026, due to new fare adjustments.

Holders of the AM Lombardy Valle d'Aosta card or the Esselunga voucher are eligible for a free ticket by showing up at the ticket office; free ticket is not available online.

    Full Price Ticket (excluding the first and third Tuesday of the month after 2.00 pm and the first Sunday of the month when admission is free)

    Categories admitted to the reduction: over 65 years old, university students, EU citizen between 18 and 25 years old included Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein (non-EU citizen on reciprocity terms), employees of the Municipality of Milan
     
  • Free
    Free entry for: 0-17 years old and high school student, visitors with disabilities and a companion, teachers accompaniyng school group (max 4), MIC officials, EU tourist guides and interpreters, journalists and accredited researchers, ICOM members. Every first and third Tuesday of the month after 2.00 pm

    Museum admission discounted by 20% for groups of more than 9 visitors (discount already applied).
     
  • Reduced price
    Categories eligible for the reduction: visitors aged 65 and over, university and AFAM students, employees of the Municipality of Milan, young people aged 65 and over, Between 18 and 25 years old (excluding the second Tuesday of each month when admission is free).
     
  • Free
    Free admission is available to children and young people aged 0-17, as well as high school students, disabled visitors and one accompanying person, school teaching staff (permanent or on fixed-term contracts), MIC officials, ICOM members, European Union tourist guides, European Union tourist interpreters, and members of the bodies of the Municipality of Milan in the exercise of their functions. Free admission is available every second Tuesday of the month for young people up to and including 25 years old.

The titles that entitle to a reduction or free entry must be exhibited if required by the staff.
